I have tried using Vyzex mpk49 and SysEx Librarian and neither work. I am using the MPK49v105.syx file which I know is the right one. Can anybody out there help me.Im tearing my hair out and now way behind with a ton of work I need to get done. Thanks in advance. Hi, Thanks for posting.

There's not much trick to it aside from using that guide that you referenced. I would suggest attempting to send the sysex file with MIDI OX (assuming you can test on Windows). One step that I see often overlooked is users will neglect to unzip the folder that the firmware downloads in, and they load the file anyway. There's a good chance this will damage the file and it will not load properly. Please make sure that you are unzipping the folder correctly before loading it with the Vyzex Editor, MIDI Ox or any other software. Other than that, assuming that you followed each step in the guide correctly, you'll want to check the MPK's general connection with the computer: If you continue to have trouble though, you'll want to reach out to the representative that you initially worked with for a complete walk through and service options if necessary. Let me know if you have any questions!

If you cannot open the WSX file on your computer - there may be several reasons. The first and most important reason (the most common) is the lack of a suitable application that supports WSX among those that are installed on your computer. A very simple way to solve this problem is to find and download the appropriate application. The first part of the task has already been done – the software supporting the WSX file can be found below.

Now just download and install the appropriate application. This site also defines other possible causes causing the problems with WSX files.

Possible problems with the files that are in the WSX format The inability to open and operate the WSX file does not necessarily mean that you do not have an appropriate software installed on your computer. There may be other problems that also block our ability to operate the SysEx Librarian For Mac OS X file.

Below is a list of possible problems. Corruption of a WSX file which is being opened. Incorrect links to the WSX file in registry entries. Accidental deletion of the description of the WSX from the Windows registry. Incomplete installation of an application that supports the WSX format.

The WSX file which is being opened is infected with an undesirable malware. The computer does not have enough hardware resources to cope with the opening of the WSX file.

Drivers of equipment used by the computer to open a WSX file are out of date. If you are sure that all of these reasons do not exist in your case (or have already been eliminated), the WSX file should operate with your programs without any problem.

If the problem with the WSX file has not been solved, it may be due to the fact that in this case there is also another rare problem with the WSX file. In this case, the only you can do is to ask for assistance of a professional staff.
